Race to the Castle
Walk, jog or run this epic 100km Ultra Marathon in the stunning surroundings of the North East of England. From stretching moorland to winding rivers, ancient woodlands and a magnificent finish at Bamburgh Castle.
You will get the full Threshold experience, including unrivalled camaraderie from your fellow participants, fully-stocked pitstops laden with food and drink, an overnight Basecamp and tireless support from our staff and medics who will help you every step of the way.
The least populated of the UK’s National Parks, Northumberland national park boasts the cleanest rivers and clearest air along with some of the most breathtaking scenery in England. Our 100km route winds across stunning moorland and through ancient woodland to the coast, where you will be greeted by charming seaside towns on your way to the iconic Bamburgh Castle.
We understand the magnitude of taking on a 100km Ultra challenge of this nature and will do everything to support you on each step of your journey. A signed route, well-stocked pit stops, medical support and even bag transport, we take care of everything so you can focus reaching Bamburgh Castle.
