One of my favourite.. Being a local race it is still to this day one of my favourite races.
Unfortunately this race did not start on time. so if you tell people that you will be in a certain place at a certain time you won't!
Path and road terrain all the way around.
There is an incline at about one mile. The crowds were full and amazing all the way around.
The entertainment was really good from drum bands amplified under bridges to church choirs.
From pubs hanging pints of beer to people standing with rubber gloves and vaseline.
Superb stadium finish and a medal and goodie bag collection out side the stadium
Car parking is about a mile out with prepaid shuttle buses to the start.
