Celebrate the final weeks of summer at the Leeds Running Festival on Sunday 29th August 2027. Taking place in the stunning surroundings of Roundhay Park, one of the largest city parks in Europe, this popular event offers 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distances for runners of all abilities. Enjoy a scenic route through lakeside paths, woodland trails and open parkland as you make the most of the late-summer atmosphere. Whether you're aiming for a personal best, preparing for an autumn race or simply looking for a memorable day out, Roundhay Park provides the perfect setting for a summer running challenge. With fantastic event support, a friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings throughout the course, the Leeds Running Festival is the ideal way to round off your summer running season.

Route and elevation
We will have marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows.
The course is on the roads/paths in the park.
There WILL be pedestrians, please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists and dogs. We have marshals around the course and signs but this is not a road race, you have to pay very close attention to where you are going. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you.
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome! The fields are open and every area of the park is accessible to see people running round.
