Shere 4 hour Navigation based Trail Run & MTB

Shere, Guildford, Surrey

Shere Village Hall, Gomshall Lane, Shere, Guildford GU5 9HE, UK

Sun 8th December 2019

Organiser's Description

A 4 hour run and MTB event, starting on foot with one transition to mountain bikes. The nature of Adventure Racing is that anyone of any age and fitness can take part, from the very beginner to the ultra racer. Using a waterproof map you plan your route and navigate to as many checkpoints as possible in 2 hours. You plan your own strategy, deciding how many CPs you want to visit and in what order. Distance covered can be anything from 20k to around 40+k, and depends entirely on your level of fitness and your running/MTB and map reading skills. From Shere Village Hall.
