Organiser's Description

The nature of Adventure Racing is that anyone of any age and fitness can take part, from the very beginner to the ultra racer. Using a waterproof map you plan your route and navigate to as many checkpoints as possible in 2 hours. You plan your own strategy, deciding how many CPs you want to visit and in what order. Distance covered depends on how many checkpoints are visited and can be anything from 8k to around 16+k - it depends entirely on your level of fitness and on your running and map reading skills. Canicross runners are most welcome - dogs go for free! From Shere Village Hall.
