Round and round we go. I am very familiar with the park and location so it made for a stress free start. Great idea to have the half marathon runners complete an out and back first to avoid any bottlenecks for marathon runners. Sometimes a little frustrated at having to navigate thru general park users when racing but can’t be avoided! Got a marathon PB so happy days !
Great work on the PB!!

A lil ropey but good race. Travelled from across the water as I was visiting family. Better sign posting would be needed for race registration, parking is required, but that comes with feedback. Out and back for the 1st 2k was a lil confusing; however I throughly enjoyed the race, directions and stewards/ volunteers well positioned. Only negative was that it was held on remberance Sunday in November which may have affected attendance numbers. If it was promoted with more sponsors on board I think it could take off and be used as a lead up for a bigger marathon

Disorganised event but good run for a PB. I am not from the area and when I got to the park there were no signs for parking until you got very close to the start. I was driving around for ages trying to find a sign. Then the parking was totally disorganised and everyone just parked where they liked in the end. Was worried about getting my car out. The start was a loop out and back which wasn’t explained on the correspondence. I thought it would be 3 loops and then a bit extra. So this through me off, as I wasn’t sure whether I had followed the marathon runners course. The course however was really flat and the views were lovely. Got a PB for the half. So if you are willing to overcome a disorganised event, the run is definitely worth doing once.
