The Ayr Classic 5 Mile Run, organised by The Classic Run Series, is set to take place on Sunday 6th October 2019 in Ayr, South Ayrshire. Participants will have the opportunity to run through the iconic grounds of Ayr Racecourse, home of the Scottish Grand National. The 5-mile route will feature a start and finish under the grandstand, with two loops around the paved road of the racecourse. In addition to the main event, there will also be a junior 3k run and a Family Mile, making it a fun-filled day for all ages and abilities. Organiser's Description
The newest addition to the Classic Run Series is the Ayr Classic 5 Mile Run. The Ayr race will be held at the iconic grounds of Ayr Racecourse, home of the Scottish Grand National. The 5 mile route will incorporate a start and finish under the grandstand, and two loops of the paved road around the racecourse itself. Also a junior 3k run 3k, & a Family Mile.
