The BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Standard Distance Championship comes to the Barton Marina, Barton Turn, Barton-under-Needwood, near Burton-on-Trent. The swim will be in a lake within the grounds of the Marina, with shallow, clear waters; the cycle will follow a rolling road route through local villages; the run will be within the grounds of the Marina in a traffic free environment on a mixture of trail track and grass.
