Organiser's Description

A new 319km cycling event starting from Girton, Cambridge that heads far out into the ‘wilds’ of Suffolk, dips a toe in the North Sea at Dunwich, visits ‘civilised’ Norfolk, and heads home via the “Ship of the Fens” at Ely. The route visits capitals of ancient kingdoms, regions and tribes, as well as capitals of religion and learning, all in East Anglia. It starts with a bit of a climb that won't trouble any ‘uplanders’ and then rolls steadily from there to the coast along deserted lanes and quiet roads.
