The Castle Run Series - Castle Howard
The Castle Howard event in July promises a memorable 10k or half marathon run on the southern border of the North York Moors. The rapturous reception afforded to previous Castle Howard Triathlons has led to this weekend event to be known as the sporting event of the North! The spectacular run course takes runners through the undulating Howardian Hills and boasts a finish that tops everything off in style – right in front of the main doors of the house.
Castle Howard is located just 15 miles north east of York, just off the A64 in the direction of Malton and Scarborough. From the North: From the A1 take the A61 to Thirsk then the A170 to Helmsley. Before Helmsley turn right onto the B1257 and follow the brown signs. From the South: Take the A1M to Junction 45 and follow the A64 east to York. Continue past York and eventually you will pick up the brown signs for Castle Howard. Click here to view a detailed map of directions to Castle Howard (Post Code for your Sat Nav: YO60 7DD)
