Event summary
The Huddersfield Hurtle promises a well-supported experience with fully marshalled and signed courses, as well as feed and drink stations approximately every three miles to keep you energized. While the terrain is generally good, runners should take care as some sections may be icy or slippery. All finishers will be rewarded with bespoke medals and an abundance of treats, making this event a must-attend for trail running enthusiasts! Don't forget to plan your parking in advance at the nearby NCP Huddersfield or Alfred Street Car Park, as parking near the start/finish area is not allowed. Join us

- Elevation: Flat
- Terrain: Good Trail (can be icy/slippy in places – take care!)
- Feed/Drink Stations: Every ~3 miles
- Course: Fully marshalled and signed
- Facilities: Canal-side loos at start/finish
- Finishers: Bespoke medal & plenty of treats
Distances & Start Times
All races are fully licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules and take place on the scenic Leeds to Liverpool Canal – a flat, out-and-back route ideal for all abilities.
Registration opens from 7:30am
(Allow at least 1 hour for parking, registration & loos)
- 10K – 10:00am
- Half Marathon – 9:00am
- 5km – 8:30am
- Marathon (2 x half laps) – 8:30am
