The Loop Multi-Terrain Race

Hopkinstown, Mid Glamorgan

Scrap Yd, Gyfeillon Rd, Pontypridd CF37 2PP, UK

Sun 12th July 2015

Organiser's Description

A 6 mile race on forest roads and trails. Starts and finishes at the Barry Sidings Visitor Centre, between Hopkinstown and Trehafod. The first 3 miles is uphill, then it's downhill to the finish. If you have the time and inclination when you get to the top, and with good weather, you can see all the way down to Cardiff Bay on one side, and to the Brecon Beacons on the other. This race is definitely suited to the runner who prefers the off-road experience.
