New for 2016 and it’s a belter! Leaving from Flanesford Priory in Goodrich, you’re straight into the epic Wye Valley to cut and weave your way through limestone gorges and dense ravine woodlands, heading towards Symonds Yat. The Wye Valley is an AONB, and Goodrich Castle, one of the finest and best preserved of all English medieval castles, stands in open countryside above the River Wye. You will see this amazing castle from the top of your final climb and should take time to soak up the view. The short route is a fairly gentle affair until the close to the end, but the mid and long routes will push you further.
