A really well-organised event that made it easy to check in, get settled, and ready to run. My only suggestion would be to consider adding another water station before the 5k mark, especially to support first-time 5k runners. Also, it would be great to have more energetic marshals like the gentleman who was shouting with such enthusiasm, “Yes, you can do it!” — that encouragement made all the difference!
What a lovely event, the weather was perfect too. Everyone I met was really friendly and I had a good battle the whole way with 3 other runners. Organised really well with a lovely team. Drove from Walton on Thames, parked behind Harrods (free Sunday) then walked 15mins to the bandstand 👌
