Organiser's Description

Experience the thrill of London’s most popular 10K race venue, in the picturesque setting of Regent’s Park. With thousands of finishers over the years, it’s easy to see why runners love the stunning scenery and energetic atmosphere of this event. The course is a fully measured 10K within the park, providing a fast and traffic-free run suitable for all levels, including beginners and has a UKA licence.

While running alongside London Zoo, you may catch a glimpse of some exotic animals, including camels, giraffes, and even big cats. You’ll also pass by the serene boating lake, beautiful floral gardens, and ancient statues and monuments, adding to the already unforgettable experience.
After completing the course, relax with friends in the vast open spaces of the park and celebrate your success with an officially timed and recorded finish. You can even purchase event merchandise during registration, which will be collected at the event.

What's Included

One Race Events - Regents Park 10k Series

Please read all of the information here carefully to ensure you arrive at the right time and are fully prepared for the run.

If you have any questions that are not answered in this information, there are details of how to get in touch at the end of this email.



Before Race Day

Think about your training and what you should eat and drink in the 24 hours before the event. If you've not trained as well as you hoped, be prepared to take it easier, particularly for the first half of the race.

Getting to the race

Event village in Regents Park: Just inside Chester Gate, on Chester Road.

Finding us in the park

The event village, registration and start/finish area is just inside Chester Gate, on Chester Road. Cumberland Green, adjacent to The Broad Walk Cafe, NW1 4NP

Arrival and Start time

The run start time is 9.00am but with the start line remaining open for a few minutes for those who'd prefer a more relaxed and spacious start.

Arrive 45 minutes before the start. We'll be ready for you from 8.00am.

On-the-day registration is available. Do you know someone else who would like to take part? Bring them along!



Registration

At registration, you'll be asked to confirm your details before collecting a race number and safety pins.

Once you have your number bib, move to the preparation area to complete the emergency details on the reverse and attach it to the front of the top you'll be running in.



Toilets

The park toilets on The Broad Walk will be available throughout the event. There is a 20p charge to use the toilets which accept contactless payment only.



Bag Drop

You can leave any clothing, bags, keys and phones at our bag drop. Your race number has a tear-off strip on the bottom that should be attached to anything you leave with us.



The Race

The race starts promptly at 9.00am.

We'll make announcements asking you to prepare to run and move into the start area shortly before the race.

The course is all on tarmac pathway and made up of 3 laps for the 10k.

The course is marshalled, signed with arrows and kilometre markers.



Water/feed Stations

There is a water station which you will pass every lap - water will be in cups.



Spectators

Spectators are permitted anywhere in the park and around the route. Please be mindful of others' comfort and safety in more popular locations, including the finish area.



Finish Line

When you've recovered, collect your medal, water and snacks from next to the finish area, and don't forget to collect any belongings you've left with us.

Any lost property or left belongings will be kept for one month.



Results

A complete set of results will be posted online and emailed to all runners on Sunday afternoon.

Nice little race. Well marked, good support along the course. Water at the start/finish during each of the 2 mile loops was enough. Fun little “medal” at the end. Would sign up again!
