Organiser's Description
With a 10K, 5K and junior fun run – which all start and finish on P&J Live’s concourse - The P&J Run Fest will bring together people of all ages and fitness levels from across the north and north-east to create a community of runners.
A family fun day out, parents with babies in prams and buggies, as well as enthusiastic young runners under the age of 12 will be able to participate in a 1K junior fun run.
The P&J Run Fest 2024 is raising funds for not one but FIVE inspiring north and north-east charities.
Participants are encouraged to raise funds for The P&J 275 Community Fund which supports the charities transforming communities across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands and Islands.
The P&J 275 Community Fund’s charity partners for 2024 are Friends of Anchor, Save Bon Accord Baths (a project by Bon Accord Heritage), Munlochy Animal Aid, SurfABLE Scotland (a project by Friendly Access) and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).
As part of its milestone 275 th anniversary celebrations, The Press and Journal launched the 275 Community Fund which will support each charity partner throughout 2024.
All funds raised will be split equally between each of the five charity partners and each charity will receive a minimum of £10,000.

The course is a mix of terrains including tarmac and cinder paths.
The course is both undulating and winding

minimum ages
To sign up for the 5K race you must be 12 years old or older on the day of the race.
To sign up for the 10K race you must be 16 years old or older on the day of the race.
The junior fun run is for children aged 12 and under.

You should receive your race pack approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the race date. The pack will contain your race number which has your timing chip attached, an instruction sheet and four safety pins.
