Returning for its triumphant second year, this event offers an exhilarating journey along the scenic banks of the River Severn, taking participants along a beautiful disused railway line between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. With stunning views of the river, runners can choose from various distances to suit their adventure: tackle 9, 19, 28, or go the distance with the challenging 38-mile option. Each out-and-back lap spans 9.4 miles, showcasing a flat trail that is perfect for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, stunning scenery, and the thrill of crossing the finish line!
Organiser's Description
The Railway Ultra has been such a success it returns for 2019 - twice! We've added a Winter Railway Ultra in February. The route takes runners along the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth along the disused railway line, where the views of the river are outstanding. You have the choice of running 9, 19, 28, or 38 miles. Each out and back lap is 9.4 miles A flat trail run.
