Organiser's Description
Come and join us in one of the 3 races all of which are within the beautiful scenery/greenery of Pembrey Country Park and the surrounding woodland and beach, no public highways are used. The courses are challenging but are perfect for both experienced runners, first timers and fun runners. The Half Marathon will be a great fitness test for anybody training for The London Marathon.
Whilst these are not mud races we are dependent on the weather so be prepared for some soft ground, standing water and muddy patches.
It is strongly recommended that runners wear appropriate clothing for the time of year, especially footwear, to avoid injuries.
The winners names will be entered onto the main trophy which will be the Warrior’s Sword, there will be photo opportunities and a race video. All 3 courses will be well marshalLed and manned water stations will be in place. There are also plenty of places around the course for spectators to watch and the cafe and Sloppy Joe’s will also be open.
What's Included
There will be a top quality medal awarded to all finishers
Trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers in each race.
Traffic free route
Toilets will be available near the start and in the cafe.
First Aiders and an ambulance will be available on site.
Start Times & Registration
The 5k will start at 11.00am, the 10k at 11.15am & the Half Marathon at 11.30am - runners are requested to register and obtain their numbers by 10.45am at the latest.
Event Rules & Terms
By entering you agree it’s at your own risk and you will not hold the organisers liable/responsible for any injuries sustained before, during or after the event.
Entry Fees are non-refundable.
All runners are requested to wear their numbers clearly on the front of their running vests/shirts.
