Organiser's Description

Our Surrey Tour cycling event takes riders around the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for a fun yet challenging day in the saddle. Your legs will certainly be ready for that finish line beer.

Those of you entering the Long and Middle route will get to experience Leith Hill - the highest point in Southern England at 294m - which will certainly be the highlight of your ride. Leith Hill is listed in the 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs book, written by Simon Warren, and is part of the Ride London route so to conquer it will surely be a proud achievement.

The Short route at 84km and 845m of vertical ascent will still give those not wanting to brave the Long and Middle routes an opportunity to experience Surrey in all its glory.

Regardless of the route you choose, you’ll weave and wind through an amazing variety of countryside, from the rolling chalk downs and flower-rich grasslands to the heaths and woodlands.

Of course, you’ll be rewarded with a medal, a cold beer from Days and some nutrition from OTE to celebrate your accomplishment as you cross the finish line. And just because you've finished the ride, that doesn't mean you have to go home. Why not stay on in our rider’s village for some pizza and post-ride banter?

We’re so excited to be returning to the Surrey Hills for the second time this year. It’s a firm favourite amongst the UK Cycling Event riders due to it being a route that is accessible for many with the added bonus of ticking off famous climbs. We hope you are able to join us.
