Organiser's Description

Join us for our very special celebration of our very own Chuckle Brothers: George McDonough and Leon Hicks! and yes, we are using their favourite catch phrase "To me, to you!"

The medal is awesome for this event and we expect it will sell out. We are excited by this run so come join in the fun with us.

We welcome runners of all abilities and you are allowed to run or walk the course.

Distance & Time: This is a 50 mile run you have 15hrs & 30mins available to complete the distance. You can down to a single event should you decide to part way through your run, giving you the flexibility and confidence you can start the 50 mile event with the safety of being able to complete a shorter distance and still finish the event. Your entry therefore gives you an entry into our 7hr timed event too. (sunset is at 8.30pm so head torches will be needed at the end of the event)

Course: The run route is 5 Miles, starting and finishing at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. Each lap will be 5 miles in length, meaning we get to see you and cheer you on 10 times!

Medals: As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive our fantastic medal.

Mini-Me Pins: Our "mini-me medal pins" are available for the first 100 entrants only. If you collect these fabulous pins, you need to enter quickly as they are allocated on a strict first come first served basis.

Distance Pins: We have distance pins for all runners who do a half-marathon or more.
There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.

Goody Bag: Absolutely! You have earned these replacement calories after all, so all our finishers get a great goody bag. You will have a selection of goodies to choose from. As well as our standard goody bag, we have a vegan goody bag too. Please remember to let us know if you are vegan or if you prefer a vegan goody bag when you enter and we can have this ready for you.

Aid Table: We have managed to maintain our aid table throughout the pandemic with our COVID secure policies, approved by various SAG and Public Health teams across the UK. We have now returned to our full aid table selection, however we will serve you rather than a return to help yourself. You can rely on a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan selections at the aid table - great if you are running long distances.

Special Event: If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th etc. marathon or half marathon then please let us know. We will provide you with a great number with your name and the event date on it. Also, if it is your birthday, again let us know and we will get you a special number for your birthday!

Toilet & Changing Facilities: Toilets are available at the start / finish area inside the venue HQ. There are changing facilities inside the venue.

Parking: There is a large pay on exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, right at the start of the event.

Other Info: There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please don't leave anything valuable.

Headphones are allowed.
