Refuel with your teammates and enjoy local food trucks serving tasty food and drinks. And there's coffee, snacks and ice cream to keep the whole family happy when they come to spectate. How To Get There
The venue is just a 10 minute drive from the A52, 15 minutes from both Grantham and Melton Mowbray, 40 minutes from Nottingham, and very close to the A1.
You can also access the venue from the the A607 Leicester to Grantham road, from where it is well sign posted; follow the brown and white tourism signs.
Parking
Parking is available at the venue. Charges will apply.

Tough Mudder 5k Waves will run from 12:15pm to 3:15pm on Sunday
Age restrictions:
Tough Mudder 5k participants must be at least 13yrs; Tough Mudder Classic participants must be at least 14yrs; Mini Mudder participants must be aged 5-12yrs.
Any participant under the age of 18 taking part in the Tough Mudder 5K or Tough Mudder Classic events will need to be accompanied on course by a chaperone.
What to bring:
- A Positive Attitude
- ID + your ticket (printed or screenshot)
- Trainers
- Change of Clothing + Shoes
- Sun cream
- Plastic Bag (for wet, muddy gear)
- Cash for snacks and extra drinks
What to wear:
- A good pair of running shoes (that you're not too attached to) with good cushioning, traction, and drainage.
- Form-fitting, light weight, breathable gear (always check the weather and adjust accordingly).
- Awesome fancy dress (if that's your thing).
Bag drop is £3 cash.
Course Details
The course is designed to be difficult and the terrain is at times muddy, slippery and can be potentially dangerous. You will be wet after the first couple of miles. You must be able to swim 50m if you attempt the Walk the Plank obstacle. If you do not feel comfortable about completing an obstacle, do not attempt it - move on to the next.
Running alone? We’ve got your back. In 2020 all events will have designated solo runner waves so you can meet other lone wolves, form a muddy pack and get goal-crushing.
