Organiser's Description
Toughest Mudder is pushing it to the max in 2019 with a full 12 hours of extreme teamwork, stamina, and mental grit testing action from 8pm Saturday to 8am Sunday. Bust through as many 5 mile laps as you can, crushing 20 of the most incredible obstacles ever seen, all in pursuit of our all new awards and prizes. Toughest Mudder is guaranteed to push you past anything you’ve ever experienced before, and this year you can share the glory, if you choose, in one of our all new 2, 4-person or Open Team Relay formats. Assemble your crew and see if they really are as tough as nails.
Wanna take it one step further? Hit the dedicated miles attached to Male, Female and Team Relay to qualify for Contender status at World’s Toughest Mudder (which includes eligibility for prizing).
We'll be taking the thick mud, freezing water, and wild terrain that Mudders tackle every year and upping the ante. Expect 5 miles of Tough Mudder gone wild, in the dark, pushing your body and mind to the absolute limit. How many laps can you complete?
2-Person Team Relay
Every team gunnin’ for 2-person Toughest Glory in 2019 must complete their first and last laps together with a minimum of 1 athlete on course for every lap in between. Teams can be comprised of any gender. Each team has one timing chip to be carried by the active running athlete.
4-Person Team Relay
Every 4-person team looking to reach Toughest Glory in 2019 must complete their first and last laps together with a minimum of 2 athletes on course for every lap in between. Teams can be comprised of any gender. Each team has one timing chip to be carried by an actively running athlete
Open Team Relay
If you and your friends are crazy enough to band together and see just how many miles you can rack up, then this category is for you. Whether you're a team of 3 or 23, join forces, make a strategy and have a blast out on course. Every open team must complete their first and last laps together with a minimum of 2 athletes on course for every lap in between. Teams can be comprised of any gender. Each team has one timing chip to be carried by an actively running athlete.
Support Crew
Grab a Toughest Mudder Support Crew ticket for exclusive access to the Overnight Mudder Village along with the hospitality tent for assisting runners on Saturday and Sunday. Maximum of two support crew members per participant and maximum of 5 per team. Support crew must be over the age of 12. If support crew is between the ages of 12 - 17 they must be accompanied by a chaperone, 18+ years old.
Event Day / Night
With more hours out on the course and more teams taking on this crazy challenge, a new dedicated overnight Event Village is in order. Exclusive access and an early load-in to a brand new Toughest Mudder Village will be given to all athletes. Take advantage of a World's Toughest-style Pit Area, camping and hospitality to ensure you and your team are ready for 12-hours of muddy mayhem.
How To Create / Join A Team
To be eligible for a team category, each team must create a team in the Active.com registration platform and have added all members 3-weeks prior to the event.
