Tour of The Peak Sportive

Bakewell, Derbyshire

Guiseley Cottage, Shutts Ln, Bakewell DE45 1JA, UK

Sun 15th May 2016

Organiser's Description

Set in the heart of the Peak District National Park, this sportive is based upon the race of the same name, steeped in cycling history and where you will 'ride in the wheel tracks of legends' (Cycling Weekly). The Ultra route takes in the 3 major climbs of the area: Winnat’s Pass Killer Mile, Holme Moss and the Cat ‘n’ Fiddle. It is the ONLY sportive to have a full road closure on Winnat’s Pass and for 2016, it now also forms part of our Killer Mile Challenge series. Set in a world of contrasting natural beauty of caverns, moors and dales, rivers and springs, the Tour of the Peak is an incredible challenge! 2 distance options.
