Town to Tower 10k - Ruthin to Moel Famau UPHILL Race

Ruthin has recently been recognised as one of the best places to live in the UK, and undoubtedly one of the reasons that this lovely Market Town has been recognised as such, is it's location, sitting right beneath the beautiful Clwydian Hills, and it's highest point - Moel Famau. We have devised a cracking 10k route which will take you to the top and your race finish line!

This uphill only race is based right on St Peters Square, in the heart of the town. A well supported and pleasant (downhill, briefly!) start will see runners making their way to Moel Famau. The route provides a varied and challenging way up to the Jubliee Tower and a unique finish line, at over 550m above sea level! The view will definately be worth it. We are inviting runners of all abilities to come along and take part - whether you;ll find yourself walking a lot of the course, or whether you'll be competing at the sharp end as an experienced hill runner!

After finishing, a short walk of 25-35 minutes takes you back to Bwlch Penbarras, your well earned medal and transportation home. There will be an option to purchase a bus ticket upon entering the event, to take you back to Ruthin and your vehicle, if you wish.
