Yes. Trail Pursuit is inclusive for beginner & experienced trail runners alike.

WHAT IS THE TERRAIN LIKE AT TRAIL PURSUIT?

A mix of terrain including hard packed forest trails, elevated fells & bridleways ways, taking in panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons!

DO YOU NEED TO NAVIGATE ON THESE RACES?

No, all routes are fully marked & marshalled so you can focus on the epic trail running

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO ENTER THE RACES?

Yes. All individual entrants for 5K through to marathon must be aged 17 or over. This is to comply with UK Athletics guidance. For the Kids 1 Mile race any age between 5 - 12 years old.

CAN ADULTS RUN WITH JUNIORS?

Absolutely! Sharing the experience is fully encouraged.

Includes: Your chosen race, chip timing, medical support, Mountain Fuel nutrition & finishers eco medal. Plus yoga, athlete speakers, live music, workshops, adventure film screening, social guided runs & hikes, sports expo & x2 nights camping!

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF MY TICKET? (RACE + FESTIVAL + NO CAMPING)

Includes: Your chosen race, chip timing, Mountain Fuel nutrition, medical support & finishers eco medal. Plus yoga, athlete speakers, live music, workshops, adventure film screening, social guided runs & hikes, sports expo & NO CAMPING. You can enter the festival site across the whole weekend, however cannot stay on-site.

CAN I TRANSFER MY PLACE TO ANOTHER RUNNER?

Yes, please do this before the cut off date 60 days before the event. This is to ensure administration, timing & logistics are taken care of.

I WANT TO RUN FOR CHARITY, CAN I?

Absolutely. There are two ways to run for charity: sign up and then run for your chosen charity or in some cases charities have bought bundles of tickets in advance and will be advertising on their own website.

WHAT TIME DO THE RACES START?

SATURDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 2022: Marathon: 08:00 Half Marathon: 09:00 10K: 09:30 5K: 10:00 Kids 1 mile: 15:00 NB: An official warm up will take place approximately 15 minutes before the start of each race.

DO ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A MEDAL?

Everyone crossing the finish line will receive a Trail Pursuit: Brecon Beacons medal for the distance they have completed. These will be given out in the finish funnel area by one of our amazing community groups

ARE THERE PRIZES IN THE RACES?

Kids 1 mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon & Ultra races have a range of prizes from our very generous sponsors. Prizes are provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Male/Female)

WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION OF THE ENTRY INTO THE RACE?

You will receive a confirmation via email after you purchase your ticket

WHEN DOES THE YOGA, BREATHWORK & NAVIGATION WORKSHOPS TAKE PLACE?

Our qualified yoga, breathwork & navigation teachers will lead sessions across the weekend. Exact times to be confirmed.

DO I NEED TO BRING A TENT?

Included in your RACE + FESTIVAL + CAMPING ticket is x2 nights camping At Gilestone Farm, Friday - Sunday. Please bring your own tent & camping gear.

CAN I BRING MY CAMPERVAN?

Yes, you're welcome to bring your camper! Please purchase your Campervan Pass separately at checkout. Please note we have a limited number available. Want to run & stay in your campervan? Choose RACE & FESTIVAL Ticket & also add the CAMPERVAN PASS, found under 'Extras' Campervans park in a separate field.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

We are canicross friendly! Please ensure your dog is at least 1 year of age & confident around other dogs & humans. We kindly ask you keep them on a lead throughout & please pickup & dispose of their poop!

WHAT IS YOUR COVID POLICY?

If Trail Pursuit races are cancelled for any reason, you will be credited to a re-scheduled date or deferred to the following year.
