Are the races open to all levels of trail runner?
Yes. Trail Pursuit is inclusive for beginner & experienced trail runners alike.

What are the cut off times for the races?
Half Marathon: 4hrs
10K: 2hrs
5K: 1hr
Kids 1 mile: no cut off

Do you need to navigate on these races?
No, all routes are fully marked & marshalled so you can focus on the epic trail running.

Is there an age limit to enter the races?
Yes. All individual entrants for 5K through to Half Marathon must be aged 16 or over. This is to comply with UK Athletics guidance. For the Kids 1 Mile there is no minimum age however any under 5 will need to be supervised by an adult.

Can adults run with juniors?
Absolutely! Sharing the experience is fully encouraged.

Can I transfer my place to another runner?
Yes, please do this before the cut off date 60 days before the event. This is to ensure administration, timing & logistics are taken care of.

I want to run for charity, can I?
Absolutely. There are two ways to run for charity: sign up and then run for your chosen charity or in some cases charities have bought bundles of tickets in advance and will be advertising on their own website.

What time do the races start?
SATURDAY 5tTH AUGUST 2023
Half Marathon: 09:00
10K: 10:00
5K: 11:00
Kids 1 mile: 14:00

NB: An official warm up will take place approximately 15 minutes before the start of each race.

Do all finishers receive a medal?
Everyone crossing the finish line will receive a Trail Pursuit: Cornwall medal for the distance they have completed. These will be given out in the finish funnel area by one of our amazing community groups.

Are there prizes in the races?
Kids 1 mile, 5K, 10K & Half Marathon races have a range of prizes from our very generous sponsors. Prizes are provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Male/Female)

Will I receive confirmation of the entry into the race?
You will receive a confirmation via email after you purchase your ticket.

When does the yoga, breathwork & workshops take place?
Our qualified yoga, breathwork & workshop teachers will lead sessions throughout the day. Exact times to be confirmed.

Can I bring my dog?
You are very welcome to bring your dog into the event venue - Newdowns Farm. However we are not offering canicross racing on these trail routes. Please ensure your dog is at least 1 year of age & confident around other dogs & humans. We kindly ask you keep them on a lead throughout & please pickup & dispose of their poop!
