What time does the race start

The junior event starts at 9.30am and the adult race starts at 10.30am

Is the race suitable for walkers

Unfortunately, the race is not suitable for walkers. The event is designed primarily for runners, and we ask all participants to be able to complete the course at a running pace. There are a couple of reasons for this: - Time Pressures: To ensure the safety and smooth running of the event, we have specific time limits for completing the race, agreed with Enfield Council and our First Aid team. This helps us stay on schedule and ensures we can close the course safely. - Volunteer Support: We rely on the support of volunteers who need to wrap up their duties after the race, and having walkers on the course could extend the event beyond the planned time for volunteer support and race logistics.

Are the numbers posted out

All numbers and timing chips are collected on the day. Not only does it keep the cost down it helps ensure that no one is lost on the route. We can check that everyone has finished safely although we will also have a sweeper following the last runner. You must ensure you return your timing chip after the race.

Are there car parking facilities

There are excellent public transport connections to Trent Park, it is served by a number of bus routes and Cockfosters Piccadilly underground station is just a short walk from the park. We would encourage competitors and spectators to use public transport however there are a number of car parks in Trent Park and an overspill car park will be opened. We will have car parking assistants to help you park before the race. However, the park will still be open to other park users and there is a Junior Triffic Trail at 09:30. If you can use public transport or car share it would help ease any potential congestion. It is advisable to arrive early. If the car parks are full then you will be asked to park outside the park and walk in.

Are there any water stations

Yes. There are water stations on the course and you will be provided with water at the finish.

Is there somewhere to store bags (baggage drop)

Yes, we do offer a baggage drop to store your bags. Ideally, all your items should be in one bag and this should be fully closed so nothing can drop out. This can get busy close to the race start. Therefore, you are advised to store your bag early to avoid the queues. Please note, as, with all races that offer this facility, we do not accept responsibility for any missing or damaged items or possessions.

Will there be first aiders present

Yes. We will employ Event First Aiders who will be available throughout the race in the start/finish area. A number of Trent Park Running Club members, who marshal the course are trained to give first aid and will also be available to provide assistance if necessary. We also have a professional mobile service to get first aiders and emergency responders out on the course should the need arise.

If I am unable to run, can I get a refund, transfer my number or defer

In the event that you cannot take part in the Triffic Trail our race licence stipulates that your number cannot be passed onto anyone else on the day. We are also unable to give refunds or defer your race entry for another year. However, for 2025 you can transfer your place before the closing date. You can manage this transfer by logging back into the entry system.

How do you use and what do you do with my personal data

The data you supply via the entry system is held with them prior to the event and for up to 6 months after the event to enable them to deal with payment disputes, etc. We hold this entry information for up to six months after the race to enable us to deal with any queries. We do not have access to your payment details, card numbers, etc from the system. Thus cannot and do not hold these details You will also be subscribed to our mailing list so we can provide you with race day details, and the results. In this list, we only hold your name, email address and the year you ran or are running. You can unsubscribe from this list at any point by following the links in the emails. On our website, we just hold the results, so name, club, gender, age groups as well as your times. We do not supply your personal data to third parties. If you have any questions about the data we hold, would like your data amended or removed then please let us know.
