Event summary
The Virtual Dark Run, organised by Hope House Children's Hospices, is set to take place on Saturday 31st October 2020. Due to current circumstances, this year's event will be virtual, allowing participants to dress up for Halloween, glow in the dark, and complete either a 5k or a shorter distance from their doorstep. Whether you choose to run, jog, or walk, you can do it with friends, family, or solo, all while following current Government guidelines. Before starting your virtual run, join the live Clubbercise warm-up online. Participants will receive a limited edition bespoke Virtual Dark Run 2020 glow in the dark medal and goody bag in advance. Ideally, the run should be completed on the evening of 31st October, but participants are welcome to choose a time that suits them. Join in on the fun and support a great cause with the Virtual Dark Run!
Organiser's Description
Our Dark Runs have been selling out since 2014. This year’s events won’t be able to take place, so we’re going virtual! Dress up for Halloween, glow in the dark and complete 5k from your doorstep - or half the distance if little (or older) legs are getting tired! Run, jog or walk, join up with friends, take your family along, or do it solo. However you decide to complete the distance please ensure you do it within current Government guidelines.
Before you start your virtual run, join us online for a live Clubbercise warm up to set you on your way. We'll also send you a limited edition bespoke Virtual Dark Run 2020 glow in the dark medal and goody bag in advance so they are ready and waiting for you at the end of your run.
