Warmley Forest Park 5/10k (January)
Sat 25th January 2020
Organiser's Description
The first of two events in 2020 at the amazing Warmley Forest Park, a stunning multi terrain course that will traverse a mixture of woodland, scrub, public footpaths, and open grassland with a small section of the Bristol to Bath Railway Path (No spikes for this one). The course is flat/undulating with a few small cheeky hills thrown in, and will be suitable for all standards of runner. All this whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Warmley Forest Park, a former extensive clay quarry. The 5k is a single loop, the 10k a two loop course.
Muddy fun. A very muddy run around a park, this combined 5k/10k has great marshals at every corner helping runners stay on course. Mass start of 5k/10k with dog runners interspersed, this race had a friendly and casual feel, good for a first event.
