Get ready for an exhilarating day of competition at the Wealden Manic Aquathlon on Sunday, July 10th, 2016! Set in the stunning Newplace Park in Framfield, Uckfield, East Sussex, this unique aquathlon promises an action-packed experience for all participants. Competitors will dive into a refreshing 600m swim in the picturesque lake, followed by a challenging 3k run through the beautiful park grounds. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Athletes will take to the water again for a second swim before concluding with two more laps of running, totaling 6k.

The event also features the Mini Manic for younger athletes, along with a thrilling two-person relay option. Each participant will complete two sections of the race, making it a fantastic way to experience the fun of the aquathlon with friends. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a newcomer, the Wealden Manic Aquathlon is a perfect blend of challenge and camaraderie, all set in a breathtaking location. Organiser's Description

The return of the Manic, based in the beautiful grounds of Newplace Park in Framfield, on this occasion an aquathlon - but not a regular one! All individual competitors in the 'quick-change' Manic event complete a first swim of 600m in the lovely small lake, then two laps (3k) of the grounds, then a second one lap swim, and finally two further laps (3k) on the run. Also Mini Manic, 2 person relay (each to complete 2 sections of the Manic) and team relay (2m + 2f compete one after the other).
