The race has a great vibe and well supported by some local organisations. All runners will receive a medal for finishing as well as loads of goodies at the finish including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar!

A medical team will also be situated at the start area. We will also have a pre-race warm up around 10 minutes before the race start to warm up those tight muscles so you will be ready for the run. All in all we are ready – the question is are you ready to take on the challenge?

The race starts and finishes at near Rushmere Pond/Kings College, on Wimbledon Common as indicated by the arrow on the map. This is also race HQ and where the registration area is located. If travelling by train/tube, the nearest station is Wimbledon. From the station, cross the road and take the 93 bus towards Putney Bridge asking the driver to let you off at the War Memorial. Alternatively, if you would prefer to walk from Wimbledon station, turn right out of the station and walk up Wimbledon Hill Road and then continue on to High Street Wimbledon to the War Memorial. This is an approximately twenty minute walk.

Great race. Well organised. Fast and a PB course for me today! Little windy right at the start and one hilly section but you have a nice long downhill before the climb back up

Awesome Sunday race. The race was very well organised and the route marked well, with marshals along the entire way. Warmup before the race and hot tea and snacks at the finish line. The amazing weather and surroundings definitely made the race even more enjoyable!

Really good vibes from everyone. It was a shame about the weather, miserable, wet and cold, but the actual race was good. So many people still turned up despite the weather to participate and it was actually really good vibes from everyone.

Great route. Great route starting on the Common and travelling through Wimbledon Village. Despite the freezing cold and rain everyone was in good spirits and comaraderie was high!

Loved the medal. The weather was aweful and standing in the middle of a field trying to get ready was very difficult. It was very unlucky for my first race I suppose. The race however seemed organised and the track was well sign posted. Loved the medal and will be doing it again. Hopefully in better weather.
