Organiser's Description

**Elevation** 1,400ft

This run starts in the market town of Wendover, with its cobbled paths and quaint shops, before heading up through Bacombe Woods to Coombe Hill with its far-reaching views over the Chilterns. Our legs will then get a well-deserved break as we follow winding forest trails down to the Prime Minister’s country estate of Chequers. Here we will get a glimpse of the large, impressive manor house as we run through the private estate, before climbing up again to Beacon Hill. Finally, we return via undulating chalk trails through Ellesborough to Wendover High Street, where we will say our goodbyes or, if we want the extra challenge and elevation training, choose to tackle the bonus loop around Wendover Woods.

There is an optional bonus loop of Wendover Woods, which is an additional 6.5miles with 670ft of elevation.
