This was my first 1/2 marathon in many years as I am now transitioning from 5 KM and 10 KM to this enhanced distance so I was eager to experience the event. I chose the Andover event as it was local and the date and time suited me well. The event was well planned and delivered with good staff who were informative and helpful. The route was challenging with several hills and tracks that proved to be a test. The route was really enjoyable although I recorded a distance of 22.250 KM! The finishers medal was nice and overall, it was a worthwhile event. Now for the next one !

Great new event in its first year. Friendly atmosphere. Rolling route along country lanes. One section up a rough track and the rest on road. Lots of marshals guiding the way and cheering you on. And great big slate medals. Thanks Mark and the And-Over Events team, hope this becomes a regular thing.
