Organiser's Description

This traffic-free race circuit is the perfect venue for athletes of all standards, no matter if you are new to the sport, nervous of racing on open roads, or looking for a traffic-free environment to enable you to race hard and post a PB. The flat 1.25km run lap takes place on a mixture of tarmac and gravel tracks. The 2.5km bike leg uses the smooth racetrack of the famous Mallory Park circuit that will inspire you with confidence and enable you to post a great bike split.

The courses have been designed to pass the transition area each lap so you will get great spectator support.

This race has a draft-legal bike leg. Note that the use of any tri bars is not allowed in any draft-legal races.

Course Details

Sprint: 5km run – 20km bike – 2.5km run

First Run
You will be treated to 4 laps of a flat circuit of 1.25km that pass the transition, finish line and spectator area each lap providing great support and encouragement. You are responsible for counting your own laps.

Bike
The bike is a 2.5km traffic-free lap around the race track including a ride down the pit lane, before heading up to Shaw’s Hairpin and then shooting through the Devil’s Elbow and down the long descent down the Kirkby Straight, Gerard’s Bend, then maintaining your speed along Stebbe Straight where spectators will cheer you on as you fly past, through the John Cooper Esses, finishing off the lap with a diversion past the transition area, where you will either dismount or turn and head back down the pit lane.

The Sprint will complete 8 laps. You will be responsible for counting your own laps of the bike circuit.

You will love it, it’s a truly fantastic draft-legal venue and 100% guaranteed traffic free!

Second Run
The second run uses the same 1.25km lap as the first. With the finish under our spectacular ATW Arch.
The Sprint will complete two laps.
