Fantastic scenic route from west to east across the Brecon Beacons peaks, and despite the climb was kinder on my body than a flatter but rock filled Lakes race. After the first checkpoint, I was looking forward to next as much for food/drink as the amazing support, without which I might not have finished. Still find it to believe I made it even 10 months later!

Epic race, fabulous route, super supportive event team, well stocked and very tasty food at checkpoints and hugs at the finish line (that’s certainly a first) - what’s not to like !

This race was awesome. A technical first half with some rocky and boggy sections but a much smoother path for the second half on tired legs. This is self navigated! But with the route on my watch and phone the navigation was straightforward, it's still very much a running challenge not an orienteering challenge. Incredible views in the second half of the race make the big climbs worth it. The team were all really great: knowledgeable and friendly. A tough race for this distance but I would highly recommend!

Brilliant race. Hard work but very rewarding with amazing views and technical descents. Just shy of 3000m of height gain packed into 55 km gives the legs a good workout!
Top man Nick. I am glad it gave the legs a good test :)
