We are pleased to bring you the Beat The Sunset 5K Road Race, a great social event for a Sunday evening, in 2024 we welcomed representatives from 24 clubs! A super fast (maybe PB ?) 5K closed roads race through the Northamptonshire countryside. The event was originally created by Desborough Races and taken over by Go Beyond in 2023. Please note that the event has no connection with Sarah Davis and/or Desborough Races 4U

Course Details
Is a one lap fully closed roads, road race. After leaving the start line run down to the junction turn left towards Desborough. When you reach the roundabout turn right towards Market Harborough and then turn right on to Brampton Wood Lane. At the next junction turn right then take the first left and a fast 700m downhill section to the finish
Elevation is +67 and -101 Feet

Race day registration opens from 6pm. Please ensure that you arrive in good time to park and to collect your race number
There is no water station on the course. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own water for the race. At the finish there will be bottled water for each finisher, to reduce the impact on the environment please take your bottle home and recycle it .
There are toilet facilties at Targetcraft Archery.
