Country to Capital Ultra 43

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Shoulder of Mutton, Pound Street, Wendover, Aylesbury HP22 6EJ, UK

Sat 8th January 2022

Starting at 08:45

Organiser's Description

A fabulous 43 mile point to point race well established as the season opener to the Ultra race calendar.

This is historically a sell out event that takes you through the stunning Buckinghamshire countryside and crossing the M25 (by bridge of course!) We then make our way through the picturesque village of Denham where we pick up the Grand Union Canal tow path for the final run into London. The finish is at the Little Venice canal basin a surprising tranquil setting but in the heart of London next to Paddington station.

This year will be the first fully tracked and interactive race so friends and family will be able to follow your progress from the comfort of their armchairs – and also you can make sure that you are following the route!

We are proud to be a qualifying race for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc with 3 Endurance points awarded by ITRA

To add to the excitement its not unusual to find runners from literally all over the world on the start line
