Organiser's Description
Each route will take you on a captivating run through the Forest, and with plenty of wildlife to keep you company including deer, ponies, cattle and the odd pig, this near end of season trail running event should be a lovely, if not slightly chilly, end to your year's efforts. We actively encourage new runners to our events and with no cut offs, all you need do is worry about being ready for the event.

How To Get There
The campsite is located just 12 minutes drive from the M27, 12 miles from Southampton and 25 miles from Bournemouth.
From the East follow the A35 to Lyndhurst and head for Brokenhurst. The event centre is on your left.
From the West follow the A35 and then head for Brokenhurst. Once through Brockenhurst head towards Lyndhurst and the event centre is on your right.
There are no train or bus services to the event.
Parking
There is parking at the Hollands Wood Campsite. Parking opens at 0830.
Course Details
Half Marathon/10 miles/10k: : run on wide metaled pathways through the heart of the Forest. It's a straight forward route which will be way marked.
5k: run on wide metaled pathways through the heart of the Forest. It's a straight forward route which will be marked for the whole 5k. No traffic and at this time of the year limited people (other than our runners). Kids can run for free with every adult entry - 1 child per 1 adult entry.
We don't really do cut offs (within reason)
Event Details
Registration will be in the same location as parking and the start/finish area.
We are very aware it's Remembrance Sunday and there will be a one minute silence at 1100, just before the safety brief. We request you respect this time accordingly.
To minimise disturbance to wildlife, livestock and other people, please keep your dogs on a lead or leash at all times. Pick up after your dog.
REGISTRATION OPENS AT 0900: Sign your name and collect your number (YOUR NUMBER GOES ON YOUR FRONT)
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 1045: No exceptions, if you are late, you will not be able to run.
SAFETY BRIEF 1045 -1055: It's just the key points and won't take too long
START 1105: As soon as the minute silence has finished you're off, all routes.
