Organiser's Description
Whether you're a novice, an experienced open water swimmer, or an Olympic athlete, this event is a fun challenge to take on. We have three distances for you to pick from: 1500m, 2500m or the biggie 5000m. All swims take place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham.
The swim itself is very simple to navigate as you will have sight of the banks at all times. The very big orange blueseventy swim buoys will be the turning points.

What To Wear
Any front stroke is permitted in this event and wetsuits are completely optional; swimmers can wear any swimwear of their choice – even swimskins!
It is recommended that those who are less confident with open-water swimming wear a wetsuit to help with buoyancy and regulating the body temperature in the water.
