Lovely, sunny day for a run down the Mersey. Great atmosphere and well organised. Mainly a flat run but a couple of hills that were torture for tired legs. Plenty of volunteers and good signage. The drinks stations and toilets were well stocked and plentiful. Loved my medal and the nice pie and hot ribena at the finish were welcome. It was my first time and I’ll be back next year hopefully☺️

Really enjoyed the race, being my 1st trail run as well as Marathon. The course is well marked out with the marshals ready to help. I will definitely be backa gain next year to try and beat my time.

Well marked course, enthusiastic volunteers who stood in the freezing temperatures for hours, mad respect to them! Aid stations were disappointing, otherwise would have gotten a 5/5.

A beautiful trail run. Mainly flat but lots of steep hills at points. Muddy and scenic! Loved it. This was my first ever trail run and it was fabulous. There was a point though I went the wrong way!!! Thank god for a dog walker who sent be back to the right point. Looked like I wasn’t the only one who went off route at that point too. Highly recommend though. Lovely medal and mince pie treat at the end x
