This exciting new event invites triathlon enthusiasts of all levels to take on the beautiful grounds of Bowood House, featuring both Sprint and Super Sprint distances. Participants will experience an open-water swim in Bowood Lake, followed by a closed-road cycle and a scenic multi-terrain run.
For the Sprint distance, athletes will tackle a 750m swim, 6 laps on the bike, and a 2-lap run. The Super Sprint distance includes a 400m swim, 3 bike laps, and a single run lap. Young athletes can also participate in the Tri Star categories, ranging from age 9 to 14, with tailored distances for each age group. Join us for our BRAND NEW BOWOOD HOUSE TRIATHLON on Saturday 21st June 2025 over Sprint and Super Sprint distances!
The Bowood House Triathlon is back for 2025! Choose between Sprint and Super Sprint distances and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Bowood House. This features an open-water swim, a closed-road cycle and a scenic multi-terrain run.
Distances:
Swim - in Bowood Lake. 750m loop for Sprint; 400m loop for Super Sprint.
Bike - 6 laps for Sprint, 3 laps for Super Sprint.
Run - 2 laps for Sprint, 1 lap for Super Sprint.
Tri Star 1 [age 9-10] - Wave 1 - 10:30 am
Swim - 200m; Bike - 3km; Run - 1.2km
Tri Star 2 [age 11-12] BOYS - Wave 2 - 10:45 am - Gear restricted / Drafting
Swim - 300m; Bike - 6km; Run - 1.8km
Tri Star 2 [age 11-12] GIRLS - Wave 3 - 11:00 am - Gear restricted / Drafting
Swim - 300m; Bike - 6km; Run - 1.8km
Tri Star 3 [age 13-14] BOYS - Wave 4 - 11:15 am - Gear restricted / Drafting
Swim - 400m; Bike - 9km; Run 2.4km
Tri Star 3 [age 13-14] GIRLS - Wave 5 - 11:30 am - Gear restricted / Drafting
