Organiser's Description

The Brighton and Hove Triathlon will be back on Sunday 10th September 2023 with participants taking on the fast and flat traffic-free route from Hove Lawns along the famous seafront Promenade.

Brighton and Hove Triathlon is well established as one of the biggest events in the triathlon calendar. The event will also include children's triathlons for 8-16 year olds.

Course Details

Fast and flat multi-laps closed roads on Brighton seafront.

What's Included

On Sunday the races start with the children’s triathlon events.
It is then the adults turn in what will be some exciting racing from all levels of competitors. Triathlon is a passion for all our team, we have worked very hard to ensure you enjoy the event, are safe and most importantly have fun.
The event village will be full of activities, great food and music for competitors, spectators and members of the public.
Good luck with the rest of your training and we look forward to welcoming you at our event in September!

How to Get There

There are good train links to Brighton from London. Hove Lawns is a short walk away from Hove Station. Please plan journeys in advance.

Parking

There are pay and display areas to the North of the Lawns.

Hove Lawns is located on the border between Brighton and Hove, west of the West Pier. The postcode for the lawns is BN3 2FR.

  • Can I bring spectators to the event?

    Spectators are very welcome to the event, we have a free to attend event village for spectators to enjoy.

  • Are there toilets available for competitors?

    There will be toilets available next to the Transition area.

  • Are you taking entries on the day?

    No, sorry we will not be taking any entries on the day.

  • Are the roads closed?

    Yes the A259 will be closed during the event on Sunday 10th September. If you are driving please make sure you park outside of this area and walk down.

We are very excited to be welcoming to the long-awaited return of the Brighton & Hove Triathlon on Sunday 18th September.

There will be no face-to-face race briefing on the day, so you must read the information provided in this guide carefully. It covers everything you need to know including certain key points which you must understand before the race.

Following the race, your feedback is always very important for us. We can’t wait to hear all about your day and hope you will share your race day experience with us.

Amazing event! Atmosphere was superb! All staff and all Spectators were very supportive and cheerful. Thank you very much. I’m so happy to be part of this event!

Well organised raced with plenty of Marshalls to keep pedestrians off the course. Marshalls were very encouraging. My only negative was the bike course was due to close at 2pm and they starting preparing that at 1.30, if you were in one of the late waves to start, you could easily have been eliminated
