The concept of this event is to showcase all that this area has to offer. We are taking runners on a journey through local history and giving you a special tour of the estate, town and countryside in a really interesting and varied course.

7 miles through beautiful Stamford and Burghley. The first mile is through the historic streets of Stamford where thousands of runners enjoy the closed road route. you'll then explore the Burghley estate through private areas ordinarily closed to the public. The finish line is stunning in front of the house where you'll receive an amazing bespoke Burghley7 medal.

We are joining the Burghley estate and the historic old town of Stamford for the first run of its kind.

We must give special thanks to SKDC, Peterborough district council, Pilsgate Village, Stamford Town council and Burghley estate for believing in the project and working on the delivery. Without these organisations and local people we wouldn't have the opportunity to run and share such an incredible place in such a special way.
