Join us for the exhilarating Cambridge Half Marathon on Saturday, March 4th, 2017, organized by OSB Events! This popular race, now in its 7th year, promises to be the biggest and best yet, set against the stunning backdrop of historic Cambridge in Cambridgeshire.
Participants will tackle a scenic loop course that begins on Victoria Avenue and features iconic landmarks such as the Round Church, Kings College, and the Fitzwilliam Museum. Runners will enjoy a unique experience as they venture through the picturesque surroundings of Midsummer Common, with the event hub located right in the heart of the action. The course also takes athletes out of the city along Trumpington Road, through the beautiful village of Grantchester, before returning along the scenic Barton Road. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer, the Cambridge Half Marathon is an event not to be missed!

Organiser's Description
The 7th running of this lovely race, set in historic Cambridge. The 2017 event promises to be the biggest and best yet! The course will be a loop starting on Victoria Avenue, with Midsummer Common being the main event hub. It will head through the centre of Cambridge, past the Round Church, Kings College, Fitzwilliam Museum and along The Backs. The new section will see runners head out of the city along Trumpington Road, through Grantchester and back into the city along the Barton Road.

Beautiful course. A very well organised event. Great email communication from the moment I registered. The starting area was well staffed with clear signage and zoned areas for bag drop, loos, starting pens etc.
Great course running through beautiful parts of the university while you still have energy. Then a big loop down to Grantchester Village and back.
The efficiency of the finish line process was also excellent.
Chip times text to me within minutes and a congratulations email later that day.
Could do better...... Great, mostly flat course and vocal local support spoilt by appalling organisation of the Park & Ride and roads that narrowed too much making overtaking very difficult. The Park & Ride at Trumpington Road was a shambles as I arrived as suggested at 7:30 to then wait for half an hour for another bus to arrive. By this time the queue behind me was several hundred people long and I overheard a Park & Ride employee tell a marathon helper that there was no chance that all of the people would arrive on time with only three buses serving the location and Cambridge being a effective one way system due to road closures!!
