Organiser's Description
Start with a 2k swim at Eton Dorney, then a 65 mile bike ride down to Hassocks, and then it's on two feet for a half marathon trail run down to the sea front.
This relaxed sportive style event is something new in the triathlon world, and a great way to spend a day out. Select from either finishing in Brighton or return transport to Windsor.

Course Details
THE START
The start of your adventure takes place in Windsor, Berkshire at the fantastic Dorney Rowing Centre. A short journey from the town the rowing centre will host our registration, transition, parking and other event facilities.
THE SWIM
The swim start is located a short walk from the race village and transition to enable the completion of a point to point swim for our point to point adventure. Swimmers will start in the water in waves and complete a 1.2mi swim.
TRANSITION SWIM – BIKE
Exiting the water you will be straight into transition where your Bike Bag and Bike will be ready for you. In transition you’ll be able to use the facilities to get ready and wait for your buddies before heading out on to the bike course.
THE BIKE
The bike section of the event takes place as a sportive with the emphasis on the enjoyment of the ride rather than how long it takes you to complete it. Along the marked 67mi ride we will be providing a feed station, facilities, mechanical assistance and marshals at key locations
TRANSITION BIKE – RUN
On completion of the bike stage you will hand your bike to the transport team who will place it in a protective cover and transport it to your chosen location. You’ll then head inside into Hassocks Sports Centre where you will find your run bag waiting. Bag Collection and Changing takes place in the centres facilities indoors. When ready you’ll then head back out of the centre and pick up the run course.
THE RUN
The run section of the event takes place over fully marked trails with road sections kept to a minimum. Along the marked 13.2mi run we will be providing a number of feed stations, facilities and marshals at key locations
THE FINISH
The finish line for the event takes place on Brighton Sea Front at Black Rock, the same location used by many other big sportive cycling events finishing in the town. We’ll be creating a finish line atmosphere suitable for the epic adventure completed and you will be able to unwind and celebrate with friends.
