JOIN US FOR THE CANNOCK CHASE THE SUN!
WEDNESDAY 16TH AUGUST 2023
This undulating course takes you running through the stunning Cannock Chase Forest. The 5k will be one lap, the 10k will be two laps and the 10mi will be 3 laps with a mini loop to start. Each km is accurately marked out with signposts and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish.
This event will be held at Cannock Chase Forest which is within the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With this event being only 20 miles from central Birmingham and just outside Stafford, it is easily accessible by car.
This epic venue will host the 2022 Commonwealth Games mountain biking at the Forestry England site! As well as this, our Event village including the start and finish lines will be positioned at the concert site, which has previously hosted George Ezra, Jools Holland and Tom Jones!

Course Details
We will have a lead bike and marshals all around the course as well as mile & km signs and arrows. The course is one lap for the 5k, 2 laps for the 10k and 4 laps for the Half Marathon. This undulating course is on high quality trail paths.

Lovely staff, not my best race as time but everything well organised , would definitely participate in the future!
The only problem I had was with some other runners who were blocking the way, leaving me with the option of going off road to overtake or wait and be slower than I needed to be.
