Organiser's Description

Treat yourself to an Easter dash around the beautiful Chasewater Resevoir for a 10k (or 5k!) racing gem!

This is a Nice Work race
This means that it is an original Nice Work race, fully hosted and organised by us.

Event Overview:
The first thing you need to know about the Chasewater Easter Egg races is that we fully support the fun! Some of our runners choose to dress up as their favourite Easter character and whilst it's by no means mandatory, it does create a wondeful atmosphere for this Spring race! Runners can take part in the either a 10k or 5k race but both are filled with delight! We also have a children's 600m race, so it is a great way to get all the family involved in this holiday weekend.

Course Details:
This race uses the undulating paths and trails around Chasewater Reservoir. The race will start just outside the Innovation Centre and after a short loop around the centre, runners will head clockwise around the reservoir and cover two laps for 10k and one lap for the 5k. Due to the multi terrain nature of the event, we are unable to get a certificate of course accuracy, but the route is as close to 10k/5k that GPS technology will allow.

Route Map:
You can view the route map here. You'll be able to download the route in different formats including GPX.
