Organiser's Description

The Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery Sportive starts at a majestic location hidden away on a tiny rural lane in the heart of the Chiltern Valley, just North of Henley on Thames.

The Chilterns is a top UK cycling destination comprising beautiful rolling countryside, providing challenging climbs and rewarding sweeping descents. This is a social and adventurous cycle ride through the Chiltern Valley, and both routes take you through quintessential old English villages and countryside, and pass Cobstone Windmill featured in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

This Sportive has two distances of 35 miles (57km) and 57 miles (92km) to accommodate all abilities! Half and Full Pint riders will all cycle the first 37 mile loop. Full Pint riders will continue past event HQ to take on a second loop.

One of my favourite sportives. Beautiful route & signposting was excellent - the two most important factors. A couple of feed stations at just the right distances. No delays getting started. Perhaps my only gripes was the amount of loose gravel on the downhills - but it all helps to learn bike control (in the heat of battle!), and there was one very minor difference between the route and the GPX file. Now I'm just looking forward to seeing the photos!
Bradley, thank you for your kind review. We take great pride in organising our events from great venues around the country and painstakingly find the most interesting routes in the local area. We will advise when the photos have been edited and uploaded to our photographer's website. We hope hope to see you again soon. LGV
