VRM Team ASD in collaboration with EcotrailSicilia ASD and Pantelleria Outdoor ASD, curates, with the technical tourist support of
Pantelleria Island , the organization of the 5th edition of “DISCOVERY PANTELLERIA“,

TRAIL RUNNING AND TREKKING event to be held from September 22 to September 29, 2024 on the island of Pantelleria in the magnificent setting of the “National Park Island of Pantelleria” – TP – Sicily (Italy).

Two shared trail running or hiking outings + the competitive race on Saturday of 9km, 18km, 25km or 36km.

The Explore experience combines a week-long vacation with sports activities and tastings, visits and relaxing days at the beach. Every other day there are two outings accompanied by our experts, both for those who want to run and those who like to walk, in the most enchanting places on the island of Pantelleria; on Saturday, however, the actual sporting event is scheduled, with different race distances and different difficulties, competitive and non-competitive.

A place where man and nature manage to live in perfect balance: its terraces sloping gently down to the sea, unique sites such as the Specchio di Venere, natural saunas revealing the volcanic origin of the island, and landmarks that still bear the marks of the conquests of numerous peoples.

The island has been awarded 5 sails by the Italian Touring Club and Legambiente, the highest recognition for the beauty of the sea, quality of the environment and sustainability.

Discovery Pantelleria offers participants and their companions an opportunity to discover and savor the area, getting excited about the history and traditions, local products and culture of the place. The event pays special attention to the ecological aspect, with the utmost respect for nature.
