The Men’s 10K Edinburgh is a stunning 10K run through the heart of Scotland’s beautiful capital city.

The Men’s 10K aims to provide a stage for men from all walks of life to come together and take control of their health. Whether you're running to lose weight, quit smoking or fundraise for charitable causes, we salute each and every guy that gets out there and makes a positive change.

Starting on the historic Royal Mile, this incredible city centre route takes you past some of Edinburgh’s most recognisable landmarks. With the beautiful Edinburgh Castle as the backdrop, runners will pass through Princess Street Gardens, the Scottish Parliament, Grassmarket, Scott Monument before finishing at the iconic home of Scottish Rugby, BT Murrayfield stadium

Course Details

Starting on the historic Royal Mile, this incredible city centre route takes you past the Scottish National Gallery and into Princes Street Gardens, with the iconic Edinburgh Castle as your backdrop.

It then goes past the Scott Monument and swoops past the Scottish Parliament building, before carrying onto Holyrood Park. Here you take in the spectacular Arthurs Seat, as well as Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth, before heading on to the Grassmarket.

As you reach the hustle and bustle of the Grassmarket you’re past the halfway point, where the cheering crowds will help you on your way to a grandstand finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

How to Get There

By bus: Lothian Buses operate many bus services into and around Edinburgh, for a journey planner please visit Lothian Buses website. Lothian Buses services 23, 27, and 42 operate between Princes Street, close to the Start area, and either from Corstorphine Road (26, 31 and 100) or Westfield Road (22 and 30), close to the Finish area. These routes may be slightly diverted due to the event, but will stop close to the start and finish areas.

By Train: The nearest train station to the Start is Waverley Train Station, which is a 10 minute walk away. The nearest train station to the Finish area is Haymarket Train Station, which is 20 minute walk or short bus trip away.

Parking

Car parking is available near the Lawnmarket (Start) at the NCP car park in Castle Terrace/King’s Stables Road, St John’s Hill and the Radisson Blu car park on Blackfriars Street. Parking charges will apply. Some limited pay & display on-street parking may also be available. Car parking is available at BT Murrayfield Stadium (Finish) within the West Stand car park, using Saughtonhall Bridge. It is accessible via Saughtonhall Avenue and is free of charge for runners and spectators. Please note, there is limited car parking available.

Superbe course avec un parcours splendide à travers la vieille ville, un petit crochet par Holyrood avec Arthur's Seat en background, et retour direction l'arrivée qui se fera à Murrayfield, magique ! Très bonne organisation
